Mike George article October 2020
The article reminded me of a visit I made to The Woolpack pub in Slad, Glos. (The Cider with Rosie village).
Someone was saying that he couldn’t tell one large black bird from another.
A chap with broad local accent said, “I can help ee with two of em. If you sees a rook it be a crow. If you see crows, they be rooks.”
Crows being loners, rooks enjoying company.
